North Carolina High School Rugby Association is the only organization in NC fully dedicated to the exclusive development of High School Rugby in the State. We currently serve over 700 student-players including Boys and Girls. During the past three years, volunteers, coaches, and school administrators representing NCHSRA have supported the running of more than 10 high school teams, covering Boys D1, Boys D2 and Girls D1.
These high school programs are also modeling the best practices for new school clubs coming in every year.
We are a nonprofit organization run by volunteers. We are self funding and all funds generated are used entirely for the promotion and delivery of high school rugby programs, including referee and coaches development programs on the State of NC with the support of USA Rugby.
High School players have advanced from our programs to play for State select sides for boys and girls, State teams, collegiate sides and also USA Age group national teams such us All American High Schools and U20 National Team.
Communication has been the key of the NCHSRA success and its sponsors. We send information regularly to teams, coaches and administrators who distribute it to each of the players and volunteers. Our website and our byweekly e-news letter have been vital in this achievement.
To support your business, NCHSRA run a number of events throughout the season in addition to team’s weekly practices and games – Clinics for Boys and Girls, workshops, social events, charity initiatives, plus Year End Awards Banquets, and Recognition Ceremonies.
